I got Cory Doctorow for my academic and journalistic style. I also downloaded the collected HP Lovecraft to my Kindle after that and remain somewhat upset by the label - the intention with the novel was not to create a feeling of forbidding and horror.
I wonder however whether it was more to do with the use of the first person narrator.
Wow, Lovecraft, that's quite flattering. I got Cory Doctorow, which isn't too bad.
